ABOUT STRICTLY SPEAKING TOASTMASTERS
At Strictly Speaking Harrogate Toastmasters we are a warm and encouraging team. We have members from all walks of life, attending Toastmasters for a variety of reasons from confidence building, through to personal development and speech craft. Some are already accomplished speakers and some are just starting on their road to speaking with confidence in front of others. Some need to improve their skills for the sake of their work and careers and others just want to be better public speakers. The one reason that unites us all is that we all enjoy sharing our journey in a safe, secure and supportive environment to better ourselves and others in our community.

WHAT IS TOASTMASTERS INTERNATIONAL?
Strictly Speaking Harrogate is part of Toastmasters International (TMI), a non-profit organisation that operates local clubs worldwide, aiming to help members improve their communication, public speaking, and leadership skills.
Being part of Toastmasters, our resources and educational program is provided by the organisation, meaning you will be undertaking a tried and tested educational program which has benefitted thousands across the globe. Being a member of TMI in Harrogate gives you access to visit and participate in other clubs all over the world and share in valuable resources, studies and insight!
